Susan Lehrman has more than 30 years’ experience of teaching as a classroom teacher and private educator. Susan currently works with students in grades 5-12, and over the last few years, has expanded her practice by tutoring virtually across four states and two countries.

Susan earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of South Florida, and her master’s degree and Educational Specialist degree in Georgia. While she holds five areas of certification, Susan specializes in all areas of ELA, SAT and ACT Prep, and essay writing. She has worked with many students who have entered competitions and have won scholarships and high recognitions for writing and public speaking. Susan also enjoys working with students by assisting them in writing meaningful essays for their college applications. Susan has been recognized in Who’s Who Among American Teachers.

One of Susan’s passions is directing and producing musical productions. She believes that incorporating the arts into educational curriculum improves academic achievement. As students begin to overcome the challenges of their subject areas, they experience successful outcomes and gain more self-confidence.
