Brooke received her degree in Genetics, Cell Biology, and Developmental Biology from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She worked in agricultural genetic research out of college, but decided to transition to the classroom after finding a passion for education when she invited middle school girls to participate in the lab as an extracurricular opportunity.

In the classroom, she taught all middle-grade science subjects. For the past two and a half years she has worked out of the classroom in partnership with College Board Advanced Placement and Study.com to develop study materials and test materials for AP Biology and AP Chemistry, and has worked with DNA Academic for a year and a half to provide high quality tutoring on a variety of Math and science topics, as well as French language.

Brooke also supports local homeschool families by creating engaging science and math lessons, as well as coaching for high school level homeschool students on how to prepare to take AP tests as a homeschooler for to get ahead on college credit. Brooke also has a passion as a coach for the Future Problem Solvers program, having taken three teams to the international level of competition.
