Ms. Shannon Frank is an experienced and passionate English Language Arts Teacher. With over twenty years in education, she has a solid record of accomplishment in attaining and surpassing goals in all facets of the curriculum. She currently works as the English Department Chair at Canterbury School in Fort Myers. Since beginning there in 2012, Ms. Frank has spent time in all divisions, teaching fourth, seventh, and ninth grade along with AP English Language and Composition classes. Ms. Frank has also taught in charter schools here in Florida as part of the Cambridge Program. She began her career as a teacher in Massachusetts public schools.
Over the years, Ms. Frank has challenged herself to stay on top of the trends in education to maintain a modern, efficient classroom that meets the diverse needs of all students. She enjoys interacting with students of all ages, working to build solid relationships as she strives to instill confidence while developing their skills in reading comprehension, composition writing, grammar, and test preparation. Furthermore, her experience designing ELA curriculum at all levels enables her to differentiate and focus on each individual’s needs.
